Prokop, along with her musical director Frank Ponzio will be appearing
at both DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NY- - 212-757-0788

and JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/)
with their show "Journeys of the Heart. The DON'T TELL MAMA shows
will be on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 pm, and on Tuesday, the
24th at 6:30 pm. The JUDY'S CHELSEA performances will be on Tuesday,
October 1st at 8:30 pm, and on Sunday, the 6th at 5:30 pm. There is
a $15 cover charge for all shows.

It's the imaginative, inspiring and inimitable sound of Jan Prokop
with Frank Ponzio. Their show, "Journeys of the Heart," will feature
the music of Kander & Ebb, Henry Mancini, Kern & Hammerstein, Rodgers
& Hart, and many more.
Vocalist Jan Prokop has
sung to rave reviews worldwide performing in musicals, opera, orchestral
concerts, recitals and cabaret, in both intimate settings and grand
concert halls, from North and South America to the Middle East and
Europe. A classically trained musician, jazz pianist, composer and
arranger, Frank Ponzio has captivated audiences at Birdland, the Rainbow
Room, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie and Live with Regis & Kathy Lee
with his personalized interpretations of George Gershwin & Duke Ellington
to James Taylor, Stevie Wonder & The Beatles.
Born in musical theater,
raised in the classical tradition, seasoned with years of live performance
experience, Jan and Frank's masterful, subtle, jazz-edged interpretations
of the American Popular Song should bring a fresh sparkle to the cabaret
scene.
