Swoon Productions presents Tom Postilio in concert for one night only, Friday December 13th at 8:00 pm at THE WESTBURY MUSIC FAIR (960 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury, NY - 631-888-9000 or 212-307-7171 or visit http://www.ticketmaster.com/). Backed by his 5-piece band, Mr. Postilio will perform a program of classic American standards by such composers as Rodgers & Hart, Jerome Kern, Oscar Hammerstein, Cole Porter and many others. There will also be a special birthday tribute to Frank Sinatra, who was born on December 12, 1915, and several holiday selections including the Irving Berlin standard White Christmas. His special guests that evening are the 19-year old Concord Jazz recording artist Peter Cincotti, singer Hilary Kole ("Our Sinatra"), comedian Angela LaGreca (ABC's "The View") and the 50-member Hauppauge Children's Choir. Tickets are $37.50.

Tom Postilio has just completed an enormously successful 18-month run in the hit Off-Broadway musical "Our Sinatra." He has been hailed as one of today's outstanding young vocalists and preeminent torchbearers of the American popular songbook. He has performed two extended engagements at THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-840-6800 - http://www.algonquinhotel.com/).

Tom has performed throughout the country in theaters and nightclubs, from sold-out shows at San Francisco's THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/) to appearances with some of the nation's top symphony orchestras, including the Honolulu Symphony's 100th Anniversary Gala. Mr. Postilio's television appearances include NBC-TV's "Weekend Today" show, where he performed live from Rockefeller Plaza. Other television appearances include profiles on the BBC News and CNN.

At the age of 20, Tom Postilio left his college studies when he was invited to tour internationally for a year as the featured vocalist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. The tour included concerts throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S., culminating in a performance before 18,000 people at the Hollywood Bowl on a bill with the Tommy Dorsey and Count Basie Orchestras. Upon leaving the band, Tom's success continued with his auspicious nightclub debut in Manhattan. He broke attendance records for two consecutive years at Tavern on the Green's CHESTNUT ROOM. In 1996, he was honored by MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) for Outstanding New York Debut and received the BACK STAGE Bistro award for Outstanding Vocalist that same year.

Mr. Postilio's recordings include "What Matters Most" (Elba) featuring full orchestra and "Dream" (DRG), both arranged and conducted by John Oddo. The recordings include classic American standards by the likes of Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin and Hoagy Carmichael, among many others.

Mr. Postilio recently launched Swoon Productions, a new entertainment production company specializing in private and corporate events. It has produced such events as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's "Pink Tie Cosmopolitan Ball" in San Francisco with Mr. Postilio fronting the Peter Duchin Orchestra, a private event at the home of Ann and Gordon Getty and the DLC (Democratic Leadership Council) Gala in NYC at THE RAINBOW ROOM.
