
"Our
Sinatra," A Celebration of the Music of Ol' Blue Eyes, Continues
at the Reprise Room at Dillon's

Jack Lewin is pleased to
announce that "OUR SINATRA," a celebration of the music of Ol' Blue
Eyes, will continue indefinitely at the REPRISE ROOM AT DILLONÍS (245
West 54th Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 212-239-6200). The performance
schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at 8:00 pm and Friday & Saturday
at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 7:30 pm with Wednesday matinees at 2:30 pm and
Sunday matinees at 3:00 pm. There are no performances on Thursday.
Tickets are $50-55 (with premium ringside seating at $75-80).
"OUR SINATRA" is a full-length
celebration of the music and the magic of Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Frank
Sinatra. Performed by Hilary Kole, Tom Postilio, and Ronny Whyte,
the show features over 50 Sinatra classics, from "At Long Last Love"
and "All The Way," to "Time After Time," "These Foolish Things," "Witchcraft"
and "Where or When." Kurt Stamm directs with production supervision
by Richard Maltby, Jr. The production was conceived by original cast
members Eric Comstock, Christopher Gines and Hilary Kole.
The show was originally
presented at the Algonquin Hotel's famed OAK ROOM last summer. The
production then transferred to the BLUE ANGEL THEATRE, where it was
expanded to two acts. Most recently, the show moved to the REPRISE
ROOM AT DILLON'S to continue its run.
Hilary
Kole (Vocalist/Conceiver) is making her Off-Broadway debut in "OUR
SINATRA." A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Ms. Kole is
the youngest singer to ever perform with The Rainbow Room Orchestra,
which she fronted for almost two years. The daughter of Broadway tenor
Robert Kole, she grew up in a show business family and has appeared
on stage and in nightclubs with her father since childhood. She was
recently seen at the American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center.
Tom
Postilio (Vocalist) has been hailed as one of today's preeminent torchbearers
of the American popular songbook. Mr. Postilio has performed throughout
the country in theatres and nightclubs including sold-out shows at
San Francisco's PLUSH ROOM, the renowned Westbury Music Fair and two
highly successful engagements at the OAK ROOM OF THE ALGONQUIN HOTEL.
Most recently, Mr. Postilio has worked with some of the nation's top
symphony orchestras including the Honolulu Symphony's 100th Anniversary
Gala and a one year international tour as a feature vocalist with
the Glenn Miller Orchestra. The tour culminated in a performance before
18,000 people at the Hollywood Bowl on a bill with the Tommy Dorsey
and Count Basie Orchestras. He has performed live from Rockefeller
Plaza on NBC-TV's "Today Show" as well as appeared on PBS' Great Performances,
"Sinatra: The Very Good Years" and a profile on the BBC News. Mr.
Postilio made his Manhattan night club debut at Tavern on the Green's
Chestnut Room where he broke attendance records for two consecutive
years. In 1996, he was honored by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets
and Clubs (MAC) for outstanding New York debut and also received the
BACK STAGE Bistro award for outstanding vocalist that same year. Mr.

Ronny
Whyte (Vocalist/Pianist) has been lauded as a premier interpreter
of American Popular Song, as well as an outstanding jazz pianist and
a skilled songwriter. His achievements as a singer, pianist, songwriter
and actor have excited audiences and critics alike. His lyric Forget
the Woman was recorded by Tony Bennett. Mr. Whyte has appeared at
most of New York's top rooms, including the Cafœ Carlyle, Bemelman's
Bar, Rainbow and Stars, the Oak Room of the Algonquin, Michael's Pub,
The Village Gate & The Knickerbocker. He often makes guest appearances
with symphony orchestras with his arrangement of Porgy & Bess for
jazz trio and orchestra and other Gershwin works. He has appeared
on NBC's "Today Show." Ronny has recorded eight CDs for Audiophile
, including Kurt Weill songs: Walk on the Weill Side, and Tommy Wolf:
Whyte Wolf. His CD All in a Night's Work was selected Jazz Album of
the Week by the New York Times. His latest is a tribute to Bob Hope:
Thanks for the Memory. Originally from Seattle, he divides his time
between the New York area and his home in Milford, Pennsylvania.
Richard Maltby, Jr. (Production
Supervisor) conceived and directed Fosse, which won the Tony Award
for Best Musical in 1999. Among his numerous credits and awards are:
Ain't Misbehavin (Tony Award / Best Director 1978), Starting Here,
Starting Now, (Grammy Award nomination), Baby (seven Tony nominations),
Closer Than Ever, (Outer Critics Circle Awards), Song and Dance (director/
adaptation), Miss Saigon (co-lyricist), Nick and Nora (Tony nomination),
and Big. Richard is also directing the American Songbook Series for
Lincoln Center.
Kurt Stamm (Director) directed
the Off Broadway camp hit, Below The Valley of the Dolls, and has
directed and choreographed regional productions of West Side Story,
And The World Goes ïRound, Anything Goes, Oklahoma!, Leader of the
Pack, Cole, Damn Yankees, and Starting Here, Starting Now.
