OSBORNE AND MORAG McLAREN PRESENT THANKSGIVING EVE SHOW

on Wednesday, November 27th at 8:30 pm. Musical director is Steven
Ray Watkins. There is a $20.00 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum.
Morag is well known in
the UK for her zany humour and extraordinary vocal abilities, as well
as her acclaimed albums, including a tribute to Dorothy Fields which
was recorded following her success in portraying Dorothy Fields in
the show "Dorothy Fields: Rhythm of Life" at the Edinburgh Festival.
Morag has performed in
opera, musicals and music theatre productions, ranging from Carlotta
in "The Phantom of the Opera" at Her Majesty's Theatre London, Sondheim's
"A Little Night Music" at The Royal National Theatre in London, "Tomfoolery"
at various London theatres, to principal roles for Welsh National
Opera, Scottish Opera and Opera Circus. She is a member of the pioneering
opera improvising group, IMPROPERA, which improvises opera and has
toured internationally.
Morag has performed her
acclaimed One Woman Shows, "I Never Do Anything Twice" and "Neat"
at leading cabaret venues and festivals throughout the UK, including
Pizza on The Park, The Purcell Room, Jermyn Street Theatre in London
and Edinburgh Festival, Buxton Festival and Dublin Festival. She has
also performed in leading concert venues in the UK and has most recently
presented concerts of Dorothy Fields songs at The Purcell Room in
London and The Queen's Hall in Edinburgh with an orchestra including
New York based jazz pianist David Lahm (Dorothy Field's son).
CD recordings include
"A Little Night Music" (Royal National Theatre cast); "I Never Do
Anything Twice" (Dress Circle Records MM777); "Nobody Does It Like
Me - A Tribute To Dorothy Fields" (Dress Circle Records MM115); "Dangerous
Cabaret - The Music & Lyrics of Brett Kahr." Radio includes programme
consultant and presented of "The Song Tree" for BBC Radio 3. Voiceovers
include the films "Braveheart" and "Rob Roy."
