Lynn Lobban celebrates 25 years with John Wallowitch in THE SECOND TIME AROUND

Lynn Lobban will present he latest collaboration with John Wallowitch called THE SECOND TIME AROUND at JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/), with performances on Thursday, March 7th, Wednesday, March 13th, Sunday, March 17th, Friday, March 22nd and on Mondays, April 8th & 15th, all shows at 8:30 pm. There is a $15.00 music charge and a $10.00 food/beverage minimum.

Lynn Lobban met John Wallowitch twenty-five years ago in the spring of 1977. She fell in love with his songs from the moment she heard them and has been singing them ever since. She created her most noted cabaret shows with his words and music beginning with the 1996 critically acclaimed PHOTOGRAPHS which they performed together. It was nominated for a MAC award that year.

THE EYES OF LOVERS, a song cycle of a love affair told through the songs of John Wallowitch (lyrics) and Tony Scibetta (music) followed. In 1999, recognizing the profound influence that Frank Sinatra also had on her life, Lobban then created two shows combining Wallowitch songs with songs made famous by Sinatra . She called it FRANKIE & JOHNNY & ME and it led to her being honored with a 2000 Backstage Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist. FRANKIE & JOHNNY & ME - THE SEQUEL came next and debuted last November.

THE SECOND TIME AROUND includes songs from all four shows - plus a few new surprises. John Wallowitch will accompany Ms. Lobban and will join her in several of the songs they have sung together.
