LEE LESSACK HITS THE ROAD (AND THE WAVES) AGAIN

Celebrated cabaret and recording artist, Lee Lessack, makes his debut at the SHARON LYNN WILSON CENTER FOR THE ARTS in Milwaukee followed by his return to DAVENPORT'S Piano Bar & Cabaret (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/).

A Philadelphia native, Lessack is thrilled to bring his acclaimed tribute to Johnny Mercer to the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center on October 9th & 10th at 8:00 pm. Lessack then returns one of his favorite cabarets, Davenport's in Chicago for a week-long engagement, October 16th through 18th at 8:00 pm and October 19th at 8:00 & 10:30 pm. Following his run at Davenport's Lee will head to New York to appear on October 21st in the opening night of the Mabel Mercer Foundation's annual Cabaret Convention at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/).

Then Lee heads out to sea from October 23rd through November 1st with his show "Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs of Johnny Mercer" aboard the Silver Shadow cruising the Caribbean. And from November 2nd through November 8th he, along with Brian Lane Green & John Boswell will present "Three Men and a BabyŸGrand!" aboard the MS Ryndam transiting the Panama Canal.

Lessack is fresh from a sold-out concert engagement at London's famed PIZZA ON THE PARK (11 Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, London - 020-7235-5273) and he continues to tour the United States with "An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway," a concert that has already played in over 250 cities.

A gifted recording artist, Lessack's second solo album "I Know You By Heart" garnered him a GLAMA Award for Best Cabaret Recording. His latest recording, "Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs of Johnny Mercer," was recently selected for the preliminary nomination ballot for the 44th annual Grammy Awards¬.

In 1995, Lee created LML Music (http://www.lmlmusic.com/), an independent record label that now features over fifty of the finest Cabaret, Broadway & Jazz vocalists in the world.
