GARDENIA PRESENTS GREAT SONGWRITER SERIES WITH ANNE KERRY FORD

Anne Kerry Ford will present a Great Songwriter Series in October at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444). Performances will be on Wednesdays, October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. All shows are at 9:00 pm. Musical director is John Boswell. There is a $10 cover, 2-drink minimum. Dinner seating is at 6:00 pm.

Fresh from her dynamic concert appearance at The John Anson Ford Amphitheater, Ms. Ford explores the work of four legendary songwriters: Oscar Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, and Kurt Weill, culminating the series on the 30th of October with a tribute to them all.

Each Wednesday Ms. Ford presents a different show, featuring popular favorites from each songwriter, and throwing in some little-heard selections just for fun. FordÍs gorgeous soprano voice, keen ear for fresh arrangements, and her own Broadway resume insure that this is a series musical theatre aficionados must not miss.

Each week, Anne will welcome a very special guest from among the top cabaret talent in the country. Barbara Brussell (from New York) will be the guest for Oscar Hammerstein show on the 2nd, Peisha McPhee for the Stephen Sondheim show on the 9th, Maude Maggart for the Irving Berlin on the 16th, and John Boswell for the Kurt Weill tribute on the 23rd. Lisa Richard will be the special guest for the finale show on the 30th.
