Barbara Fasano to appear on Friday, June 28th & Saturday, June 29th at 8:00 pm with Rick Jensen on Piano.

Award winning singer Barbara Fasano brings her critically acclaimed show, "The Girls of Summer" to THE CABARET at Odette's (South River Road, New Hope, PA - 215-862-3000 - http://www.odettes.com/) for 2 nights only, June 28th & 29th at 8:00 pm. Musical director is Rick Jensen. There is a $20.00 music charge and an $8.00 minimum, credit cards accepted.

Ms. Fasano is a MAC-Award nominee, and 2-time Back Stage Bistro Award-Winner. Her critically acclaimed CD, THE GIRLS OF SUMMER, based on her cabaret show, was awarded the Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording, and was singled out in the Village Voice as an album worthy of Grammy consideration. Her frequent performances at The FireBird Cafœ garnered rave reviews. Other recent performances include THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/) for the 12th Annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, and a packed-house debut at THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-840-6800 - http://www.algonquinhotel.com/).

An actress and a singer, Ms. Fasano has performed all over the world from New York to Australia, and has been seen in theater, television and film. She began her cabaret career in Los Angeles, at The Rose Tattoo in West Hollywood and has gone on to play in clubs across the country and on tour in South America and The Caribbean. Her acting skills combined with her singing lend her songs an immediate, story telling quality. Her musical influences from jazz and folk icons have forged a cross-generation repertoire. Armed with the insightful arrangements of her musical director Rick Jensen, she is determined to expand the American Popular Songbook to include standards from Irving Berlin to James Taylor.

Ms. Fasano will also be appearing at the PRINCE MUSIC THEATER (1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA - 215-569-9700 - http://www.princemusictheater.org/) on Sunday, June 9th at 3:00 pm as part of the Philadelphia Cabaret Convention's "Cole Porter: A 111th Birthday Celebration!" as well as at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/) on Monday, June 10th at 8:00 pm in Scott Siegel's "The Broadway Musicals of 1964."
