DREAMCATCHER 'S HOLIDAY CABARET/SOIREE: SONGS AND CELEBRATION-

DREAMCATCHER REPERTORY THEATRE (http://www.dreamcatcherrep.org/) is celebrating the holidays with a Cabaret/Soiree on Saturday, December 7th at 8:00 pm. The event will take place at Dreamcatcher's home, in the WESTMINSTER ART GALLERY at Bloomfield College (Fremont Street & Franklin Streets, Bloomfield, NJ - 973-748-9008, ext. 995) adjacent to the Van Fossan Theatre. In an intimate cafe setting, dessert, coffee and wine will be available during the musical performance, which will feature selections from folk to pop to Broadway. The evening will be musical directed by Amy Southerland, who has musical directed for such New Jersey theatres as the Pushcart Players in Verona and the Bickford Theatre in Morristown. Tickets to this event are $20.00.

Several members of the Dreamcatcher company and friends of the group will be performing in the cabaret, including Terry Burnett, Harry Patrick Christian, Angela Della Ventura, Laura Ekstrand, Seleena M. Harkness, Jennifer Leta, Dave Maulbeck, and Janet Sales. Each singer has been asked to bring his or her favorite song of the moment in any style, which makes for an eclectic and entertaining evening. Making her first appearance with Dreamcatcher will be Janet Villas, a soprano who is a frequent member of the City Opera chorus and a cabaret singer at various clubs around New York City. She is also the featured soloist at Christ Church in Glen Ridge, NJ, and has made fifteen appearances over the years at Shea Stadium singing the national anthem.

The Westminster Arts Center on Bloomfield College's campus is located a few blocks from Exit 148 of the Garden State Parkway, on the corner of Franklin and Fremont Streets.
