Sharon DiCostanzo Stars in "Happiness: Songs I Love to Sing"

DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) welcomes back enchanting songstress Sharon DiCostanzo for her fourth solo engagement with her show "Happiness: Songs I Love to Sing." Performances are scheduled for Monday, October 28th at 9:00 pm, Monday, November 4th at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, November 5th at 9:30 pm. Her arranger/musical director is Barbara Anselmi and her director is Gary Slavin. There is a $10.00 cover and a 2-drink minimum. Encompassing a variety of styles, the evening includes standards, jazz, and sparkling one-of-kind arrangements as well as original material.

A veteran of countless stage roles across the country including Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl," Kaye in "The Taffetas," Sister Robert Anne in "Nunsense," Oolie/Donna in "City of Angels," and Babe in the "Pajama Game," Sharon began turning her innate musicality and lifetime of study from theatrical to cabaret performance when she debuted her first one woman show, "Sing Something Simple," at Don't Tell Mama two years ago to great critical acclaim.

Since then, she has continued to explore new musical landscapes and she and her team have created this, their fourth cabaret collaboration, with only one guiding principle: Sing songs you love to sing, because singing them makes you happy.
