"Animato in G: A Tribute To Women In Animated Film," is a journey to look at the women of animated film who are decades, if not centuries, ahead of their time in their very real thoughts, hopes, fears, emotions and dreams. It received rave reviews when it was performed at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) in October and November.

Ms. Baumer recently appeared as part of the prestigious ASCAP/FireBird Songwriters Series in Francesca Blumenthal's "Places Please!," Mickey Leonard's "The Songs of Mickey Leonard," and performing songs by Blumenthal, and Rick Swanson and Barry Moritz at the MAC-ASCAP Songwriters Showcase. Following the tragic events of September 11th, Marnie joined the cast of "HeartSong: The Heroes Concert" (Bottom Line), produced her own solo "HeartSong: Detroit," and received raves in Erv Raible's "September 11, 2001 ... The Musical Response."

Mamie made her highly praised cabaret debut in 1998 with her show "Do You Know What I Mean?" at Eighty Eight's, followed by her controversial "Marnie Baumer Mouths-0ff" at the FireBird Cafe. At the same time Ms. Baumer was featured Off-Broadway and on the National Tour of the Dick Gallagher/Mark Waldrop/David Armstrong Theater Works USA production of "Gold Rush."
