ED ALSTROM & ACID CABARET MAKE 3 CLUB TOUR

Pianist / vocalist and songwriter Ed Alstrom returns with his critically acclaimed show Acid Cabaret to THE CABARET at Odette's (South River Road, New Hope, PA - 215-862-3000 - http://www.odettes.com/) on Thursday, October 24th at 8:00 pm. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a minimum.

Returning the following day to New York City, Acid Cabaret will perform at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/) on Friday, October 25th at 10:00 pm, and Sunday, November 10th at 7:00 pm. There will be a $10.00 music charge and a 2-drink minimum.

The show then moves to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/) on Sunday, November 17th at 8:45 pm, and Wednesday, November 27th at 7:00 pm. There will be a $12.00 music charge and a $10.00 food/drink minimum.

Ed will also join the line-up at the November 13th MAC-ASCAP Songwriters Showcase scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th at 6:00 pm at THE LIGHTHOUSE (111 East 59th Street, NYC), performing his song "Trapped In A Good Marriage."

Ed Alstrom and Acid Cabaret recently burst onto the cabaret scene to major critical acclaim. Featuring Ed on piano and vocals, with Sue Williams on bass and Don Guinta on drums, Acid Cabaret presents an eclectic mix of the acerbic to the obscure; from Broadway, blues, R&B, standards and classic rock to New Orleans, novelty tunes, bebop, opera and quirky originals.

Ed recently received acclaim as the musical director for Darlene Love and Freda Payne's "Love & Payne" show at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/). Ed has recorded extensively and his Broadway credits include "Leader of the Pack" and "Smokey Joe's Cafe." He has performed with Bette Midler, Chuck Berry, Leonard Bernstein, Herbie Hancock, Zubin Mehta, Lou Rawls, and many other notables.
