Living Together 20 Years Inspires Two Guys to Create Benefit Show

Benefit Performances of "Two Guys Together For 20 Years - How? Why? Let's Talk" is New York City Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Project Fundraiser

Three benefit performances of the show "Two Guys Together For 20 Years - How? Why? Let's Talk" will be performed at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/) on Wednesdays, September 18th, October 2nd and October 23rd at 7:00 pm. The show stars two guys (Kyaw Tha Hla & Jeff Clinkenbeard) who have really been together (happily) for 20 years. The entire $10 cover charge is being donated to the New York City Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Project (http://www.avp.org/) towards their work in the community. There is a 2-drink minimum.

Written, performed and lived by the two, the show explores what happens when a Buddhist Burmese (Kyaw) and a "Show-Me State" Missourian (Jeff) hammer out a life together in a 200-square foot apartment where you can't get out of the tiny kitchen if the oven door is open (but that's not a problem because their oven door is never open). This is a "reality theater" show that mixes storytelling, improvisation and Q&A from the audience,
