Singer/comedienne
Jude Treder-Wolff will appear with her new show "Whistling In The
Dark" at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133
- http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/), on Saturdays, January 5th,
12th, 19th & 26th at 9:15 pm.
Jude's most recent critical
acclaim comes from being named Stand-Up New York Comedy Club's "Funniest
Person from the Suburbs 2001." Previous critical acclaim comes from
her shows "Evolving At The Speed Of Life" and "Love ... and Other
Forms of Transportation," and her AIDS musical theater piece "For
Some Time" (originally titled Tapestry of Hope), based on the AIDS
memorial quilt and her awareness of the discrimination that AIDS patients
suffer. "For Some Time" was created with assistance from a New York
Foundation for the Arts grant, toured the New York area, and raised
money for local chapters of the Names Project.
Jude's regional theater
credits include Hesione in "Triumph of Love," Anne in "The Baltimore
Waltz," Dr. Charlotte in "Falsettos," Sonia in "They're Playing Our
Song," and various roles in "All In The Timing."
There will be a $15.00
music charge and a $10.00 minimum, pre-show dining will be applied
to minimum, credit cards accepted. 50% of the music charge to benefit
the Twin Towers Fund.
