Nationally Syndicated Radio Show - Live On Tape From Arci's Place

ARCI'S PLACE (450 Park Avenue South, NYC - 212-532-4370 - http://www.arcisplace.com/), which has established a strong reputation as a restaurant and a cabaret space by presenting Italian influenced Euro-Med Cuisine and top-named artists seven nights a week, is pleased to announce that "Stan Martin on Broadway," a popular nationally syndicated radio program, will be taped live from the club. Featuring performances by well-known Broadway and cabaret performers and interviews conducted by the longtime acclaimed broadcaster, "Stan Martin on Broadway" can be heard locally on WRTN-FM (93.5 FM) Mondays at 2:00 pm and on WVOX-AM (1460 AM) Fridays at 7:00 pm.

On Tuesday, March 20, Martin taped segments with "Rosie O'Donnell Show" musical director John McDaniel, legendary cabaret performer Julie Wilson and jazz pianist Billy Stritch. Upcoming performers include Hal Linden and "Annie Get Your Gun" star Reba McIntyre. Performers who have been featured recently on "Stan Martin on Broadway" include: Christine Andreas, Deborah Bean, Anne Hampton Callaway, Buddy Greco and Carol Woods.

Stan Martin was one of the first radio personalities on the ground breaking Tribune Broadcasting's WPIX-FM "Pix Penthouse." He then joined WHN-AM the New York market's first country music station followed by the all-sports station WFAN-AM. From 1972 through 1982, Stan Martin was a major on-air personality at WNEW-AM until he became the nationally syndicated host, producer and writer of "Solid Gold Country," heard in over 200 markets on Dick Clark's United States Radio Networks. Martin served as Program Director of WPEN-AM in Philadelphia and led that station to win the Marconi Award for "Nostalgia Station of the Year" from the National Association of Broadcasters. In 1992, Martin transformed The New York Times' AM outlet into the most significant brand in commercial radio by branding it as "WQEW-AM: The Home of American Popular Standards." He served as Program Director, Vice President/Station Manager and Acting General Manager while maintaining an on-air show. His recent syndicated radio programs feature live music broadcasts of top named artists, demonstrating the very best of New York nightlife.
