On Sunday, October 21st, at 8:00 pm, Richard Skipper, one of the most respected and acclaimed celebrity singer/actor/impersonators will bring his famous show, "AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING" to THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/). There is a $25 cover charge,

AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING is a fully staged and choreographed, 90-minute musical montage celebrating the career and persona of this unique, theatrical legend. Blending Channing standards, such as, "Hello Dolly!," with original material and other familiar songs sung by Skipper in his powerful Broadway voice, the musical evening surveys Channing's life with many stops along the way for Skipper's unique "ad-lib" interactions with the audience.

Skipper is a winner of the MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Impersonation" and the Backstage Bistro award for best performer. Skipper returns to the Plush Room after his fourth successful engagement at CASINO WINDSOR in Windsor, Ontario and several engagements at various theatres throughout Florida's Condo Circuit, the Ontario Hilton and Washington, DC's Signature Theater. In each of these venues, he has played to sold-out houses and received outstanding reviews.
