CAROL CHANNING" (SORT OF) IS THROWING A PARTY AND SHE'S BRINGING ALONG A FEW FRIENDS!

BENEFIT PARTY AT DON'T TELL MAMA AUGUST 25th at 8:00 pm

On Saturday, August 25th, at 8:00 pm, award winning singer/actor/impersonator Richard Skipper will present "AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING AND COMPANY" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) in a benefit for YOUNG INNOVATORS. There is a $20.00 cover charge and a two drink minimum.

"AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING AND COMPANY" is a 90-minute musical montage celebrating the careers and personas of some very unique, cabaret performers. Mr. Skipper is the recipient of the MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret) Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Impersonation" and the Backstage Bistro award for best performer. Skipper brings this show to DON'T TELL MAMA after recent engagements at various theatres throughout Florida's Condo Circuit, the Ontario Hilton and Washington DC's Signature Theater.

Mr. Skippers guests include:

Singer/songwriter Bobby Belfry, a 1999 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Award Winner for outstanding Pop/R&B Vocalist. Bobbie has appeared at RAINBOW & STARS, MAXIM'S, The New Jersey Arts Center, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, & The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, as well as at EIGHTY EIGHT'S, ARCI'S PLACE and DON'T TELL MAMA. Miles Phillips, who has spent the past year performing his acclaimed cabaret show "might as well be. . ." and appearing in Theatre on the road and here in NY. He has leading roles in the films KEEPERS, CAGED, and K-PAX and has performed in nightclubs from Honolulu to London. (http://www.milesphillips.com/)

Tessa Bell, whose performance is a unique combination of jazz and cabaret. She has performed in several venues, including DON'T TELL MAMA, DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM and ODETTE'S.

CYNTHIA CRANE is fixture in New York's performing world. She returned to a singing career in the 80's after 10 years and 100 shows as founder/producer of the Impossible Ragtime Theatre (IRT). (http://www.lookoutjazz.com/)
