"OUR SINATRA" OPENS IN PHILADELPHIA JUNE 12th FEATURING COMSTOCK, GARNER & OBERLIN


PRINCE MUSIC THEATER CLOSES 2000-2001 SEASON WITH A CELEBRATION OF THE MUSIC OF OL' BLUE EYES JUNE 12th THROUGH JULY 1 st

Award-winning revue extended for five performances due to popular demand

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 25, 2001 - His image graces a beautiful mural at Broad and Wharton Streets; his music has been heard on radio stations throughout the Delaware Valley-Frank Sinatra is a true Philadelphia legend. Now, the music of Sinatra comes to the stage of the PRINCE MUSIC THEATER (Broad and Wharton Streets, Philadelphia, PA - UpStages: 215-569-9700) from June 12th through July 1st in OUR SINATRA, the highly-acclaimed, award-winning off-Broadway tribute to "The Chairman of the Board." A preview performance is scheduled for June 12th and the press opening is Wednesday, June 13th at 7:00 pm. Originally scheduled to run through June 24th, the show has been extended for five performances due to popular demand. Tickets are $15.00 - $35.00.

Winner of the 2000 Revue of the Year Award from MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs - http://www.macnyc.com/), OUR SINATRA was described by The New York Times as "an utterly winning tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes . . .that proves there are still young singers good enough to keep the tradition alive." The full-length musical celebration features over 50 Sinatra classics ranging from "At Long Last Love," and "All the Way," to "Time After Time," "These Foolish Things," "Witchcraft" and "Where or When." Kurt Stamm directs, with production supervision by Richard Maltby, Jr. The production was conceived by original cast members Eric Comstock, Christopher Gines and Hilary Cole. Comstock will appear in Philadelphia, along with Jamey Garner and Karen Oberlin.

OUR SINATRA was originally presented in New York at THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street, NYC) in 1999 and then transferred to the THE BLUE ANGEL (343 West 44th Street, NYC), where it was expanded to two acts. Most recently, it moved to the REPRISE ROOM AT DILLON'S (245 West 54th Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 212-239-6200) Reprise Room to continue its New York City run.
