Enda Markey In Concert at Jermyn Street Theatre August 19th

Enda Markey In Concert performing songs from and inspired by musicals.

Following enormously successful concert dates in Australia, singer Enda Markey will bring his solo show to JERMYN STREET THEATRE (16B Jermyn Street, Piccadilly, London - 020 72872875) for one night only on August 19th at 8:00 pm.

Featuring songs from musicals by such composers as Sondheim, Lloyd Webber, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Peter Allen, this is Enda's tribute to some of the most successful musicals of our time. Shows covered in the evening's performance include "Starlight Express," "A Little Night Music" and "Carousel" as well as some original pieces both from and inspired by musicals.

Enda Markey was born in Dublin and has appeared in leading roles in major theatre and cabaret productions around the world. At 20 he became the youngest person ever to star in a production of "Side By Side By Sondheim," appearing with Rebecca Storm and Brendan O'Carroll Æ two of the most celebrated performers in Ireland. Other appearances include "Follies," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "West Side Story" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" as well as numerous successful revues and concerts.

His debut solo CD, "Another Place and Time" was released in February and is currently available.
