MEL GREENWICH SALUTES BILLIE HOLIDAY AT CHEZ SUZETTE JULY 17th

Restaurant CHEZ SUZETTE (675 Ninth Avenue, NYC - 212-581-9717) will host a "Memorial Tribute to Billie, the Essential Holiday" with a musical montage of torch songs and swing featuring "sound-alike" vocal stylist Mel Greenwich and the Jazz Sepia Network on Tuesday, July 17th.

Mel Greenwich has entertained American and European audiences with his uncanny articulation and "vocal calling" of the great "Lady Day." He alternates between his own baritone voice and that of Billie and at times, within the same song, resulting in a Mel/Billie duet. Mel's guest female vocalist of the evening will be Juanita "J.J." Howard.

The evening begins with a prix fixe dinner at 6:00 pm and the performance starts promptly at 7:00 pm. Prix fixe dinner and show: $25.00; performance only: $10.00 cover/$15.00 min. Reservations are required.
