The Joseph Papp Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival, George C. Wolfe, Producer, Fran Reiter, Executive Director, announces that bassist David Finck and drummer Dennis Mackrel will join seventeen-year-old piano prodigy Peter Cincotti at JOE'S PUB (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 212-239-6200 - Box Office: 212-539-8778 - http://www.joespub.com/) on July 10th as part of the Pub's ongoing "Songbook Series." Ticket prices are $20 and can be purchased at the Public Theater box office or via Tele-Charge.

Peter Cincotti recently concluded a highly successful, seven-week run singing and playing classic Frank Sinatra standards in the Off-Broadway hit "Our Sinatra" at the REPRISE ROOM AT DILLONÍS (245 West 54th Street, NYC) in Manhattan. Cincotti has also been winning standing ovations in many of the city's top jazz and cabaret clubs, including The Knickerbocker, Baldoria, and The Red Blazer. He makes his JOE'S PUB debut on Tuesday, July 10th at 8:30 pm, performing both his award-winning original material and the jazz standards that have inspired him.

Joining Mr. Cincotti will be bassist David Finck, who has become one of the most sought after jazz musicians in New York, having performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Natalie Cole, and Andre Previn, among many others. Also performing with Mr. Cincotti will be renowned drummer Dennis Mackrel, who has performed with such notables as Count Basie, Tony Bennett, and Quincy Jones.

JOE'S PUB'S "Songbook Series" features intimate performances of new and classic songs from the musical theater. With Pub alumni including Tony winners Audra McDonald and Faith Prince, musical theater creators like Comden and Green and William Finn, and sultry performers Ute Lemper and Ann Hampton Calloway, the Songbook series continues to present top-quality performances, ranging in style from traditional cabaret and musical theater to opera and American pop.
