CENTERSTAGE presents Patinkin and Marcovicci in Annual Series


CenterStage (200 North San Pedro Road, San Rafael, CA - 415-444-8000 - http://www.marinjcc.org/centerstage), the cultural arts division of the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center in Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco presents a wide variety of top name artists from the worlds of music, film, television, comedy, literature, theater and dance each year. It is located about 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Mandy Patinkin is appearing Wednesday, January 2nd at 7:30 pm. The quintessential Broadway performer, Patinkin is beloved for his electrifying solo shows and dramatic roles including a 1980 Tony-winning turn as Che in Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA. His portrayal of Dr. Jeffrey Geiger on TV's critically acclaimed "Chicago Hope" earned him an Emmy in 1995. Renowned for his varied film work, Patinkin's every concert performance confirms the power and passion of popular song.

Andrea Marcovicci returns to CenterStage with her brand new show, "Double Old-Fashioned: The Cool World of Cocktails and Cafe Society" on Friday, January 19th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, January 20th at 5:00 pm. This multi-layered performer, at ease on a theater, sound, cabaret or concert stage, will sing the music of Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Jerome Kern and more.
