"Home
for the Holidays," a happy, romantic, and heartwarming Holiday Show,
returns to Los Angeles from an out-of-town engagement. It will be
performed at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood,
CA - 323-467-7444) on Friday, December 21st at 9:00 pm (dinner is
served from 7:00 pm. There is a $10 cover, 2-drink minimum (waived
for those having dinner).
It features Gina Brazell
along with very special guests Raymond Patterson, Broadway star of
"Miss Saigon, and popular recording artist and Italian heartthrob
Filippo Voltaggio. Raymond's popularity with audiences and the press
has continued with many lead roles on Broadway, as well as TV and
Film, including the popular TV show "Everybody Loves Raymond" and
the hit movie "Charlie's Angels." Filippo has toured the world in
concert and the L.A. Daily News describes him as "Ÿa rising star,
(he) resembles a tan version of British Rock musician Peter Frampton,
but sounds more like Julio Iglesias or Frank Sinatra.
Gina Brazell's lovely
voice and wacky humor have entertained concert and cabaret audiences
across the U.S.A., from San Francisco's Plush Room to New York's Lincoln
Center.
Musical direction, arrangements,
and piano accompaniment are provided by one of LA's favorites, Steven
Applegate. Also an accomplished record producer, Steven has performed
at many prestigious concert halls such as the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion,
the Shrine Auditorium and Shubert Theatre and has worked with many
luminaries including Bette Midler, Maureen McGovern, Lorna Luft, and
Amanda McBroom.
