JAMES BEAMAN'S "BLACK MARKET MARLENE" TO BE PRESENTED IN FIRE ISLAND CLUB JULY 28th

James Beaman is am reprising his MAC Award nominated "Black Market Marlene" show for one night only on July 28th at 10:00 pm at THE BAY LEAF (Cherry Grove, Fire Island NY - 631-597-4000). The performance is being presented by Richard LaFrance's fledgling theatre company, Island Rep, as their second offering this season. Tickets are $20 with a two drink minimum.

"Black Market Marlene" is Dietrich in top hat and tails singing classic songs from Hollywood's Golden Age in French, English and German, and has been enjoyed by audiences from New York to San Francisco to New Orleans to Berlin, Germany. Musical director David Maiocco and accordionist Tony Lauria will be joining Mr. Beaman for this performance, which is the first presentation of this show in the New York area in nearly two years!
