ARCI'S PLACE (450 Park Avenue South, NYC - 212-532-4370 - http://www.arcisplace.com/) welcomes for the first time award-winning vocalist Baby Jane Dexter on December 11th for a three-week engagement. Her longtime Musical Director Ross Patterson will accompany Ms. Dexter on piano.

Baby Jane Dexter is the winner of four MAC Awards and two Back Stage Bistro Awards, and has been included on top 10 lists of magazines, newspapers and radio stations every year. She has two acclaimed CD's "I Got Thunder" and "Big, Bad & Blue, Live!" She is planning a new CD for Jerome Records. In October, The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival presented Baby Jane in an SRO concert at Drew University.

She recently performed her hit show, "Making Every Moment Count," for a week at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/). Ms. Dexter also runs a motivational workshop, primarily for women, which addresses issues of self-esteem, self-image and gender roles. She has combined this with her work as an artist-educator, creating an innovative program in which she works with at-risk youth.

On Friday, December 28th and Saturday, December 29th, Ms. Dexter will have shows at 8:30 pm and 11 pm. There will be no show on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.
