CABARET THEMED RADIO PROGRAMMING


There are several radio stations around the world that feature Cabaret Artists as part of their regular programming.If you are aware of a radio program in your area that features cabaret related CD's and/or performances please let us know via e-mail. We need the following information:

Call Letters of the Station (including AM or FM)
Frequency location of the Station (including AM or FM)
City, State and Country where the station is based.
Name of the program that features cabaret and cabaret recordings, as well as the day and time it is broadcast.
If possible and/or applicable, the name of the radio personality who hosts the program.

It can be heard in the NYC area on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm on Long Island's WGBB-AM (1240) and also on the web, live, at at http://www.am1240wgbb.com/ . New Jersey

Richard Edgcomb can be heard on Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon with a new show called "Thursday Morning Cabaret," on WDVR 89.7 / 91.9 FM, Delaware Township, New Jersey and http://www.wdvrfm.org/ on the web. The show consists of three hours of cabaret, light jazz vocals, some easy listening, with maybe a little theater and classical from time to time. The show focuses more on music, interaction with the audience, a weekly interview with a cabaret or pop star at 10:15 am and talk of what is going on in the Cabaret Rooms and Concert Halls throughout the Delaware Valley. CURTAIN UP with host Dan Collester can be heard on Tuesday evenings on from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on WDVR-FM 89.7 / 91.9, Washington Township, NJ - and on the internet at http://www.wdvr.org. Each show features interviews and performances by stars of cabaret, comedy and theater. The show is produced by Jamie deRoy & friends, inc. and directed by Barry Kleinbort.
