CHI: Chicago Sings: Sondheim In Special Benefit Concert

Porchlight Music Theatre, director Rob Lindley and musical director Doug Peck present the annual "Chicago Sings" benefit concert on Monday, June 7th at 7:30 pm at MAYNE STAGE (1328 West Morse Street, Chicago, IL - TKTS: 773-325-9884 -

The event features an evening of food, drink & dazzling entertainment by the best musical talent Chicago has to offer including a preview of the newly renovated Mayne Stage Theatre (formerly Morse Theater) before it opens to the public. The show will feature one of kind performances like: Foiled Again singing "Ballad of Booth" from Assassins, E. Faye Butler taking on "Rose's Turn" from Gypsy, Barbara Robertson singing "Send In the Clowns" from A Little Night Music and Rebecca Finnegan & Michael Lindner recreating "A Little Priest" from Porchlight's Sweeney Todd. Scheduled to appear: Charissa Armon, Sean Blake, E. Faye Butler, Rebecca Finnegan, Foiled Again (Allison Bazarko, Rob Lindley, Anne Sheridan Smith), Jess Godwin, Bil Ingraham, Ross Lehman, Michael Lindner, Johanna McKenzie Miller, Susie McMonagle, Christine Mild, Jessie Mueller, Jeff Parker, Bethany Thomas, Heather Townsend, Barbara Robertson, Peggy Roeder and Holly Stauder. Tickets are $38.

FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT
Cast members from the touring cast of the hit Broadway musical IN THE HEIGHTS (currently at SF's Golden Gate Theatre through June 13th plus special guest stars Jai Rodriguez, Marga Gomez And Rj Helton are joining together to present a one-time, one-night only benefit on Monday, June 7th at 7:30 pm at
THEATRE 39 (At Pier 39, San Francisco, CA - TKTS: 415-273-1620 - ) to raise funds for The
Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation and
BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS . This exclusive "One Night Only Cabaret" event feature cast members from both touring casts performing song selections of their own choice to present an evening of upbeat, high-energy music, dance and comedy. The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation has worked with over 27 touring casts to date to produce "One Night Only Cabaret" events and looks forward to another successful evening benefiting these worth-while charity organizations. To date, REAF has distributed well over $2.5 million to AIDS service agencies. Tickets are $38 General Reserved and $58 Preferred Reserved.
